One lakh Post Cards to stop death penality

Rajiv assassination case: Saanthan, Murugan, Perarivalan was sentenced to be hanged on Sep 9 as President rejected their mercy petitions. People all over Tamil nadu turned against it to commute their death sentence to life sentence.  Esan Elango, a social activitist in Salem started to send one lakh post cards to President of India requesting to stop the death penality. Students, Teachers and puplic gave tremendous support  for it and they too started to write post cards by joining with him. The Madras High Court, on Tuesday, put an interim stay on the hanging of the three. Speaking about that, Esan Elango says “I am very happy that the Madras High Court stays execution for the next 8 weeks! Execution will never be justice. I would like to thank everybody who supported me on this and I will continue writing post cards to the president until they stop the death penality”. esan elango protest against execution

  1. Death sentence is must to the law enforcement, if it is banned, no body can afraid to law and justice, easily they can do any thing and every thing, life is sentence is only in period of 13 yrs, it is reduced by so many reasons and it finally end with 8 or 9 yrs. so death sentence is very must must, and very very most must to Indian law, the protesters will raise their obligation and agitation against Arab countries. sureshkumar salem city
