Employees of Life Insurance Corporation celebrated its week celebrations here from Thursday.

Senior Divisional Manager, LIC, Thangaraj hoisted the flag. Salem Railway Divisional Manager P. N. Ram was the chief guest at the inaugural function.

Various competitions for employees and others were conducted. Medical camp also was organized.

The Pension Plus scheme was introduced. Salem Division in Southern Region stood fourth in business.

The Division had registered 120 per cent growth this year.

A large number of employees and their family members also took part in the week celebrations, which would conclude on September 8.
