Collector J. Chandrakumar has instructed those who celebrate Vinayagar Chathurthi, to do so with eco friendly idols of Lord Vinayagar.
The administration has identified lakes at Ammapet, Seelanaickenpati, Kannankurichi and Mookeneri and Cauvery River at Poolampatti and Mettur.
