Heavy Rain in Salem

Salem district has been experiencing heavy rain for the last one week. Sankagiri recorded the maximum rainfall of 50 mm in the last 24 hours ending on Monday morning. Yercaud registered 43.8 mm of rain. Yercaud experienced heavy rain on Monday too. Vazhapadi registered 25 mm followed by Attur 20.8, Omalur 16, and Salem 1 mm of rain.
The sky had remained overcast and rain lashed the city on Monday too.
