Income Tax, Salem covering Salem, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri and Namakkal districts have opened special counters for the receipt of income tax returns from July 28 to 31 on the IT office premises at Salem, Namakkal, Krishnagiri and Hosur. A press release from the Commissioner of IT, Salem says the counters will function from 9.15 a.m. to 5.45 p.m. on all working days and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 31 (Saturday). The tax-payers are requested to make use of this facility.
