We the Admins of SalemJilla.com are very proud here in our Office, that we from tomorrow join hands with Google, the Giant in Internet lobby.

Google India team was constantly observing the site traffic of Salemjilla through the Google’s Analytic tools which the Salemjilla Backend team was using. Initially Google also had idea to attain local city portals to reach wide audience. The Site traffic of Salemjilla had made Google officials to Surprise, and wondered about the number of visitors per day for a city portal which is just for a tier II city in India. Following the Board meeting in Google Campus Hyderabad. Google Approached the SJ admins through Mail and later on through Phone Call. Following, Google officials came to the Salemjilla office in Salem and had the first round of talks last week. The second round talks today happened in Hyderabad and the deal was signed! Salemjilla admins are proud, that their works for 2 plus years had attained a golden reward. The entire deal values $1,04,201.0. Google has offered 30% of the entire deal value to the Salemjilla admins today in Hyderabad.

Similarly, Google is planning to acquire more local portals of other city which has high number of visitors base.

Salemjilla acquisition is said to be the first of its kind in All over World. And first experiment by Google to enter into local portals. Already, Google has local search etc to enhance the City area activities more in Internet.
