The State Government has taken steps to implement a dedicated water supply scheme to ensure round-the-clock supply to the people in Salem City, Agriculture Minister Veerapandi S. Arumugam has said.

Participating at a free colour television sets distribution programme held here on Thursday, the minister said that the scheme would be implemented at a cost of Rs. 283 crore.
